Engine oil turning thick black and depleting quickly is a warning sign. Common causes: soot buildup, high temperature, poor fuel, blow-by gases, late oil change, engine wear or leakage. Effects: reduced lubrication, sludge formation, overheating, rapid oil loss, lower performance, and risk of piston seizure. Solution: use the correct SAE/API grade, replace oil & filter regularly, use quality fuel, and check the engine frequently.

A Thermal Oil Heating System consists of a thermal oil heater, burner, circulation pump, expansion tank, deaerator, heat exchanger, and safety control system. Its operating principle follows a closed-loop cycle: the oil is heated, circulated, and transfers heat steadily without being consumed. Key advantages include providing high temperatures of 150–320 °C, high efficiency, safer operation compared to steam, and energy savings. It is widely applied in asphalt plants, chemical and polymer industries, building materials, food processing, metallurgy, and textiles.
